ABOUT US

Wharf Lane has been active in Wellington since 2016. It was founded by long-time Wellington enthusiast, Anthony Lemke and his brother, Chris, both dedicated urbanists with a passion for community building. Since its inception, Wharf Lane has acquired a portfolio of properties in Wellington with the aim of contributing to the sustainable, long-term growth of the community, both commercially and residentially.

At Wharf Lane, we are committed to working with partners who share our vision of building a tight-knit, vibrant and demographically diverse community, where growing economic opportunities keep people working and living in town.

Anthony Lemke - Managing Partner

Managing partner, Anthony Lemke is Wharf Lane’s feet-on-the-ground visionary and jack-of-many-trades. He is a long-time property owner and member of the Wellington community, who is deeply devoted to seeing Wellington develop into its full potential, in this, its latest incarnation.

His love of real estate has led him to extensively explore every region of the County, and while the bluffs and rugged beauty of the County’s Eastern arm beguile him at every viewing, it was Wellington where Anthony decided to lay roots. Not lacking in the lease for beauty at every turn, its year-round liveablility and village-community spirit, in the end, successfully appealed to his imagination, creativity, and by turns, his investment dollars.

Anthony is responsible for engaging with new business owners, each with equally intrepid spirits, who have worked to add new food, art and lifestyle retail establishments, to the already thriving businesses in the village core. Every day, residents and tourists alike, intermingle and catch up in any one of these beautiful spaces.

Before jumping into Wharf Lane full-time, Anthony practised real estate law in Montreal with one of Canada’s fastest growing law firms that specializes in the mid-market segment. He is also an accomplished television and film actor, with an impressive c.v. that spans two decades and several countries.

Anthony graduated with great distinction from McGill Law School and is a member of the Quebec Bar.
